Target recently filed with the D’Iberville Planning Commission show that while it won’t be a Super Target with a grocery store, it will have a restaurant and pharmacy.

A building application has also been filed by Kohl’s Department Store for a 92,858 square foot stor.
“There’s not many places in America that are building shopping centers this size right now,” D’Iberville City MAnager Richard Rose said of the 700,000 square foot development at the intersection of Interstate 10 and I-110.
The city’s planning department is expediting the permits to get the building under way. Rose said the sooner the stores are built, the sooner people can fill the jobs and go shopping, creating a boost in sales tax and ad valorem tax for the city.
“It’s a big win-win for everybody,” Rose said.
